After the success of her first solo exhibit “The Rain Series” in Beirut, Kalou went on to exhibit in Turin, London and Brussels. She was represented by The Running Horse Contemporary Art Space from 2011 until the end of 2013. She is the co-founder of “Karen & Josette” - a collaborative photography company for commissioned creative work. They were awarded the Deutsche Bank Creative Award 2010. She lives and works in Beirut.
